I lose everything and i have a dog that helps me lose everything but I'm going on 2 months without losing my pencil yet.
edit: oh! if you have the 12.9 new ipad pro, the smart cover from the last gen pro fits the new one. And those are on ebay for like $25, is where I got mine.

It’s okay for my needs, but it’s not great. I use it mostly to attach the pencil to my iPad while typing so that I don’t misplace it. However, it’s easy to knock off. So, when I’ve got a cover on my iPad instead of a rigid keyboard, I use this strap:
You’re less likely to lose the pencil, but you can knock the end cap somewhat easily. Also, you have to remove the magnet to use the strap. Bottom line is that I’ve never found anything that makes it impossible to lose a pencil.
Oh man oh man oh man oh man, a magnetic stylus that works on the Lenovo X1 which I have right now. I guess I don't need to obsess everyday for the Lenovo Active Pen 2 to release.
Do you know if the driver will work and allow my to fine tune the stylus on a Lenovo?
For context, I currently use this magnetic apple pencil sleeve on my Lenovo Active Pen 1, but the sleeve is a tight fit and require lube to slide it on.

Its made for an apple pencil which is a bit thinner than the active pen 2, so I'm afraid to try in case it doesn't stretch enough.
