Hi, I went for this in the end. Easy enough to connect, clarity is great. Haven't had chance to use it yet since GTA:O is buggered.
When you say "cheap," I assume you're not talking about the $100+ stuff people here are recommending. If so:
I wanted a mic basically just for TLOU, especially since the PS4 will come with a headset. I got the Gioteck EX-01 from Target for $20 and it has worked fine. No teammates have complained about the sound, decent battery life, and so light it's hardly noticeable. The sound quality is obviously not comparable to the other ones people have mentioned, but it's super cheap and more than functional.
Sony has their own bluetooth for $20. Which works just fine and feels better than ones like that that go in your ear.

It's no turtle beach headset but I have had it for months now and it works fine
Is a bluetooth headset really a bad idea? I can't spend £30 on a headset TBH, this is going for £10 on amazon, has anyone used it?
