I don't know about best cases. This is the one that I bought. The case still looks brand new and so does my phone after 4-5 months. It was $12 and delivered quickly with Prime.
I bought the Folio (like $80) for my Nexus 6P. It scratched the shit out of the back and hung onto dirt. Didn't protect my phone at all especially when the thin top broke off. I knew then I would never waste my money on a google case.
My phone is well protected for next to nothing.
