Personally, the gas backpack variety like Echo's are well worth the money and noise for how much easier it is to blow heavy leaves.

But if you are only doing light leaf blowing, I would recommend the Husqvarna brand

If you just have some light dust, or you only need it a couple of times a year, Greenworks brand isn't terrible.

Remember that your batteries will likely only last a year or two, while a corded blower may last you a decade if used seldom and taken care of well. So if you are only going to use it twice a year, you will have to ask if it would be easier to hire someone than buy a battery operated blower that you will only use 4 times before the battery goes out.

Maybe I'm just a bit too picky for homeowner use.
