I haven't read the article, but I want to share my two cents on the issue.

I would not consider myself charismatic at all. Growing up in the Dutch community, you could say I am more of a Reformed Stoic. But I do think you can be reformed and Charismatic. I know some Charismatic people in the CRCNA and some who are at my seminary, and they all have solid Calvinist Theology to back it up. I have total respect for them, especially how they are able to interact with the communities they are in.

That being said, I still am skeptical of a lot of the more spiritual stuff they talk about. Some of the stuff they attribute to spirits or the Holy Spirit, I can more logically rationalize it my head. Or they tell me that I shouldn't be preaching with a manuscript because is squanders the power of the Spirit. That is pretty far off in my opinion. But overall, they have really good theology. I know a lot of my Reformed Charismatic friends are involved in Presbyterian-Reformed Ministries International and they all like the book Growing the Church in the Power of the Holy Spirit. I would say these are great resources if you find yourself more on the Charismatic side of the Reformed Spectrum.
