I swapped out the Roku's and that seemed to do the trick.

However, I find it hilarious that the older model worked perfectly on the newer Sony Bravia.

Of course, the newer Roku worked fine on the older TV because it can't display 1080p. It also plugged directly into the TV.

For the Bravia, I did have to order this item from Amazon:

I could not plug the Roku directly into the Bravia because the ports are located in an inset panel which is parallel to the body of the TV, and the space was not long enough to accommodate the Roku and its power cord.

I'm happy to have it all working, but I find it laughable that I had to pair old with new in both cases for success.
