If you want info on big routes, Himalaya Alpine Style should probably be your first stop. A ton of great pictures, history, climbing stories, for 40 of the biggest and baddest mountains and routes in the Himalaya and Karakoram, super inspirational and can't help but get you excited about the mountains. Since it was written in the mid 90s there's some stuff that's out of date about what's unclimbed and what's possible, but it's a great window into the badass climbing that went down in the decades before us (and some would argue, hasn't really been surpassed since): https://www.amazon.com/Himalaya-Alpine-Style-Challenging-Routes-Highest/dp/0898864569
