I'm not sure how much it would cost to ship from the US to Canada, but the Hori HRAP VXSA Kai meets all of your criteria pretty much perfectly. I've got one of the older model, so the non-"kai" version, which just has the turbo switches set up in a different place, but they're basically the same stick. I've been using mine for more than a year, and even though the housing is plastic, it feels super solid, and like I said, I've got one, so I can vouch for its quality. It's also one of cheaper sticks out there, with all of the quality. This sexy bitch right here, but I for sure didn't pay $160 for it. I'm sure I bought it for $120 on amazon in March.

Don't see a lot of people using it, but I really love it. The stick and buttons are about double the distance apart from each other compared to other sticks, and that's really helpful for me because I have big clunky hands.

I also ordered one of these when they were on sale, but I haven't received it yet. These are probably the most used sticks ever. Also super comfortable, but I still like the RAP better.

Note: Do NOT buy this stick and mod it with Sanwa parts to make a "TE quality fightstick." For the amount of money you'll spend doing so, you might as well buy an actual TE fightstick (it's the same price, really). Plus, a TE keeps its value much better than a modded stick. The Brawl stick isn't bad, but I don't understand why people are obsessed with modding it when they can buy a better stick for less.

Hori HRAP SA KAI - usually $110, but I guess the cheap ones are sold out because EVO is coming up:

This is what I would suggest. Vewlix style button layout, all sanwa parts, solid and wider than other sticks.

Do any of you guys used the HORI VX-SA Kai as it came out of the box, square gate and all? I had a really cheap 6 button HORI stick as my entry one when I first started using them on 360, then got this one almost immediately after it came out and haven't felt a need to upgrade. I'm considering swapping the buttons out for all black ones but have never even opened it up: I assume it's not hard and hopefully there's no soldering to do.

I see a lot of the fashion flare super sweg m8 ultra TES style w/e sticks and custom art ones... but I'm just a casual over here.

The Hori Real Arcade Pro V3 SA KAI is usually pretty cheap. I own one myself and have seen many tournament players using them in videos. I believe it's all Sanwa parts, just like the Mad Catz TE (which I also own.)

I've started to prefer it over my TE stick, mostly because the foam on the bottom is much more comfortable for people like myself who play with the stick on our laps.
