That's kinda how she was with both situations. At first she was like, whatever. Then 20 min later, an hour, a day later. Boom tantrum. It blows my mind that she listens, then THINKS about it. Little gears and cogs are a'whirlin in there. She's processing and deciding how she feels about it whatever it is I've told her.

I've started censoring more what we talk about in front of her. She's listening.

Here are the emotion books we got. They may seem short at first, but they are hands down one of the best purchases we've made as parents of a toddler. They've helped her communicate through multiple tantrums. Every night we read 4 or so books. One of them is always a different emotion book.
