I have thought why I still use it many times. The flame is consistent and controllable.

It's great for precision with pipes if you want a super light hit during the day.

The burning smell it puts off while I'm smoking has really become a part of my ritual.

I say controllable because you can tilt the hemp above the flame if you'd like a bigger flame.
