I definitely recommend installing a DVR on your bike just in case the worst does happen. They're not that expensive compared to a GoPro and you can pretty much forget about them until you need a clip.

I've read good things about the INNOVV K2 and will probably get it for my bike at some point. Right now I ride with a gopro but it's a bit of a pain as a dash cam.

Having fussed with the cables, the short battery life, and forgetting to turn the thing on that comes with GoPros and clones (so called Action Cameras) I got an Innovv dual cam and have not looked back.

Not having to worry about battery life degrading over time and keeping it charged is fantastic.


EDIT: Looks like they make cheaper knock-off versions of the Innovv. May be worth looking into.
