>Can I get a list of every game that uses more than 4 cores? We can compare that to the total 14k games on Steam.
You're missing the point and just making a strawman out of my argument. I never claimed that there were more games that used more than 4 cores, I'm just saying that it's disingenuous to make it seem like just because most games don't use more than 4 cores, you don't need or shouldn't want more.
The 8350K is currently being sold at almost $200 for both Newegg and Amazon with the exception of that one $170 one (it wasn't there earlier today, so I wouldn't be surprised if it's out of stock again by the end of the day). For that almost $200, you can just buy a 2700 non-X and get double the cores and quadruple the threads which also boosts higher than the 2600 non-X. Those extra cores and threads are going to help out tremendously in the most popular games (eSports titles and AAA games) since those are the main things that people play anyway. Indie games are usually easy to run so getting an 8350K to run indie games better isn't going to make any difference to your experience.
There is literally no reason to buy an 8350K unless you want to specifically play one of the few games it will do better in. Even then, it's still a terrible deal and not worth having inferior hardware for literally everything else.
If the 8530k is the chip within your budget then the Ryzen 2600 is within it too, get more cores with similar single core performance with a cheaper board, and an included good quality cooler to boot. If you're working with a tight budget Ryzen is absolutely the way to go. Just more economical overall.
Literally everywhere else on the page, and other stores labels it as 4.

That's $330... if you can pick up a decent ATX case for $70, you'll do fine.
Compare it to the intel i5 8400, which is $257.99 on Amazon, the Ryzen is: -16.1% cheaper,+16.4% faster in multi-threaded albeit -14.1% slower in single threaded. Trying to find a closer price comparison the i3-8350k is $225, and the Ryzen is 46% faster in multithreaded.

For the graphics card I would suggest this: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125916&cm_re=gtx_1050-_-14-125-916-_-Product

CPU is cheaper than a Ryzen 1500x and gives better FPS performance in games while only slightly worse in some other scenarios, the pros outweigh the cons.
The i3 8100 is newer, cheaper and faster overall.

The i3 8350k is a good bit faster in every aspect and also cheaper.

No point buying the 7320 honestly.
The i5 8500 has slower single core speed than the i3 8350k, honestly the i5 isn't really worth it if you don't rely on multithreading quite heavily and then only if you get the i5 9600K which is a good bit more expensive.
Your benchmarks are a bit outdated and don't include the latest CPUs, I personally like userbenchmark.com, usually reliable figures and easy to compare stuff.
