This is more music than General Discussion related but I wanted to say I just finished Is It Still Good to Ya?: Fifty Years of Rock Criticism, 1967-2017 by Robert Christgau and it blew my mind. For some reason I'd never heard of him but he's apparently a big name and there's a reason for that. Dude's almost 80 and still has it, and was ~there~ for things like Punk as well as keeping up to date on modern music- look at the list of topics he's covered. His knowledge of history of music (all kinds) is amazing and comprehensive, and his way with words helps me understand why certain artists I didn't particularly care about (Country, jazz etc) are important and enjoyable. 10/10 would recommend!
