Some bits of advice:
Overall great build. You can save some money here and there. My total build cost about $800 with an i7-4790k and GTX 970. You can probably get yours to about that price with some tweaking and smart buying. Good luck! And let me know if you have questions.
Yeah you can use a splitter. As far as I know there's not really any "best" one available. I got this one and it works fine.

Wait, do I have to purchase something like this PMW fan splitter ? Or am I legit missing a fan header I don't see.
your motherboard comes with one 4 pin fan chassis fan connector but your case has two 3 pins fans, you will be able to use them with any 3 pin fan splitter leaving one of the pins unused, also the motherboard manual says it does support voltage control, so you will be able to control the speed of the fans through the bios.
I would suggest you to buy a 4 pin splitter for future compatibility in case you will ever change your fan to 4-pin fans and it's just 1 dollar more expensive. Like this:
https://www.amazon.com/JBtek-Black-Sleeved-Splitter-Converter/dp/B00OZ10FI2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1486564407&sr=8-1
Amazon also has a 3 pin one:

All you need anyways is a 3 or 4 pin fan splitter cable. Ask me anything else if i wasn't clear with my explanation!
With two fan splitters? Put two fans on two of the headers.

Get that, or something similar.
Technically the splitter you bought already would work; it would just plug into the PSU instead of the motherboard. Because they are plugged into the PSU, they'd run at 100%
If you want to plug them into the motherboard, you need to get a Y splitter than has a fan header on the other end: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00OZ10FI2/?&tag=od03b-20
Thanks for all the help, brother. Fan Controller might be overkill for me as my rig isn't too loud. I actually found this fan splitter cable that I am going to try out.
if its 4 pin then it would work. Considering you dont need it right now to have a working computer then get it from amazon or newegg.

Yes, look on amazon.
Is this what you are looking for? www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00OZ10FI2/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Im using this one with no complaints or issues

So I recently built my first PC (confetti rain). But seriously. I am using a Fractal Mini C case and have a gigabyte b150m-ds3h motherboard. The Case has 2 fans (3 slot plugs). and the motherboard only has 1, 4 slot fan thing (still learning terms). Right now only using 1 fan and after market CPU cooler. I bought this. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00OZ10FI2/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Will this solve my issue and allow both fans to work? WIll I be able to control fan speeds if they are not 4 slot plugs?
PWM Fan splitter
look at your user manual, it will show you where all your fan connections are. just cause the fans came with the case does not mean they have to be hooked up, but if your want them all powered you can either get a fan hub/controller, or a fan splitter*edit spelllllllling
The case is great, and looks good too. I was able to route the 8 pin connector above the cpu fan, and behind the casing. The cables were not flat however. Also, this case does have 2 fans, so I was suggested to buy this part (http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00OZ10FI2/ref=cm_sw_su_dp).
Ahhh ok thanks. The people I asked made it sound like you need a fan with 4-pins to control it and that's the only way. Unfortunately for some reason I can't seem to control system fan 2 at all. I have tried many times, but it just doesn't recognize it.
This is the adapter I was looking at, is it fine?

Those temps are great. What case and cooler did you go with? If the thermal paste wasn't the pre-applied stuff than you can rotate it with not much problem. It is when it starts to dry out that you must replace it. That is more of a personal opinion though.
The fans didn't come with any adapters? Also it is safe to use a fan splitter for two fans.
also, if you do consider getting more than one extra case fan, get a Y splitter.
Apparently that motherboard has just 3 fan connections. You already would use one for the CPU cooler and one for the fan that comes with the case.
I don't believe the S340 Elite comes with a fan hub.
If you just need to power two fans, you can buy a splitter like this:
https://www.amazon.com/JBtek-Black-Sleeved-Splitter-Converter/dp/B00OZ10FI2/
If you have multiple fans, you will need a breakout cable that is powered off molex or SATA:
https://www.amazon.com/Swiftech-8W-PWM-SPL-ST-Way-PWM-Splitter-Sata/dp/B00IF6R4C8/
You'll want a PWM (4-pin) fan splitter cable like this. Your AIO cooler might have come with one; I'm pretty sure mine did - I have a corsair H80i GT. PWM means you can control the fan's speed from within the OS (through programs like Corsair Link, etc.).
You could get a fan cable splitter for $5.99 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00OZ10FI2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_ib33yb55SCY3X
I checked the manual to make sure and it looks like this motherboard has only one 4-pin out of the two CHA-FAN header. Can you run two fans from one header?
edit: Found this https://www.amazon.com/JBtek-Black-Sleeved-Splitter-Converter/dp/B00OZ10FI2/ref=sr_1_2?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1494103176&sr=1-2&keywords=4pin+fan+splitter
I assume it's possible if these splitters exist
Buy a couple of splitters or a dedicated fan controller. Some cases have a fan controller built in.
As long as the CPU fan is plugged in and nothing is overheating you should be ok. I'd prioritize the CPU cooler fan and the exhaust fan that is mounted in the back of the case over any other fans like the front fans or a top fan Otherwise your temps may be a few degrees higher but nothing to really worry about. This is a splitter, they're real cheap and can be found plenty cheaper online.

It's going to be fine probably but it's so cheap I'd just order one and put it in when you get it.
