forever A joy,

There was actually some close racing in all three classes today, a bit of a rarity in the last couple of years. The track at Indy isn't really the most spectacular on the calendar, so it was just nice to have good races. There was a last-lap pass made by former unbeatable force-of-nature Valentino Rossi in the next to last turn of the race today that was rather spectacular and another made by another former champinon Nicky Hayden in the last turn that was just plain silly. It's been 3 or 4 weeks since the last race (yearly season break), so having racing at all was good. Next race is Brno, Czech republic on next Sunday.

I did enjoy the whole last segement of Mongoliad, it really pulled some storylines together within pages of where I was when I told you about it. It ends a bit abruptly and it seems there is another book coming to move that narrative forward. It's part of my dilemma - I'm only getting in three or so books per year at my current rate, do I want to be ready to read Katabasis in October? The other thing is I have some actual books on hand that I haven't read but the fact that my ebook is on my phone as well as the tablet means I almost never don't have my book with me (a common problem with the printed form). Do I start a physical book? Get an electronic copy of one I have? Get a new, different ebook? You've made a suggestion or two that sounded good, too!

I'm at 1 hr. on 3 iron, they've been nicked by the police and she's "home".

I love all the things you saw and did today. Drunken Butterfly Fights sounds like a perfect band/album/song/book title! So good that you had special time with your friend"
