On the machine I use my Keepkey with, I have EC v3.3.2, been lazy to update. I can certainly give it a go and report back, but I won't be home until this evening (at work now).

This is the one I have:

Bought in March of 17.

Oh man, I wish! I'm afraid I dont have the qualifications. I found a couple bigger hardware wallets that can use doge, but they are 240 bucks.

Yes, you would rather not keep your coins on an exchange like Coinbase. They are good to acquire them but you dont want to hold them there. You would want to look into getting a hardware wallet to keep them safe. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0143M2A5S/ref=pe_861660_138883610_fxm_4_0_n_id is one example of the hardware wallets.

Keepkey is a good hardware wallet, similar to Trezor. I'd say go with a Trezor because of their great support here and community standing, but alas, they are all sold out due to demand at the moment. Keepkey is a fork of the same code, though. You should definitely consider purchasing a hardware wallet like this to securely store your coins once you choose an exchange and purchase coins on it. Leaving those coins on an exchange is about the riskiest thing you can do, as many of us have learned from experience.

Just gonna leave this here and also, your timestamp should really include both of them, not just one.

If you end up buying a lot of bitcoin you may want to invest in a hardware wallet. I'm just about at the tipping point where I am looking into getting a KeepKey.

How is Purse undercutting KeepKey's own site? Not by much, but they're showing $94.05. Does Purse, Amazon or KeepKey ship to the Philippines?

Proof: https://app.purse.io/product/B0143M2A5S

Update: none of them ship to my country. so much for global...

I got off Jaxx. I had a similar issue and then the shapeshift started not working.

I use Coinbase to buy and briefly store then I send it to an offline wallet.

This one came highly recommended... https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0143M2A5S/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

> Please everyone, use a hardware wallet for long-term hodling. It's 100-200$ to protect all the rest of your crypto. for anyone looking, Keepkey is what I have, and it's worked great.

If you're planning on investing, definitely get a hardware wallet. Yes, they cost money but it's worth it for the security. Trezor seems to be the best hardware wallet that I've found and it's currently $78 on Amazon (which is a pretty good deal). The other popular hardware wallets include the KeepKey (Amazon link) and Ledger Nano S (Amazon link). Check out /r/TREZOR to learn more about the Trezor wallet.

That's right. Buy this and transfer your Bitcoin from Coinbase to the Keepkey.
