There is a book about this guy's ordeal. Clarence Thomas "underplays" the circumstances, I'd say. What they did was pretty awful and involved far more than one prosecutor. The DA, when appraised of the situation tried to cover it up and blocked the indictments of the offenders.

Buy His book, "Killing Time", read it, and pass it on to a friend to spread the story or send him a check. Maybe a few extra dollars from the readers of Reddit could put a very small dent in what he is owed.
Anyone who is interested in this case (or making a murderer) should read a book called Killing Time. It's about a man who was similarly convicted and sentenced to death for a crime he did not commit in New Orleans. The same DA (Harry Connick) was involved and was basically found to be doing the same shady stuff as in this case. Since reading the book I've heard of several similar cases from New Orleans during the 70s and 80s.
