Not 500GB but I got a HyperX Savage 240GB 2.5" SSD with fast MLC NAND. SSD Link. It has a beautiful Red Aluminum face-plate with silver Aluminum reflective accents that will go perfectly with Black/Red Themed Builds! For only $50 Shipped! I also got some case fans and a flash drive if you need. Reddit HWS Link
An 850 EVO 120G floats @ ~$65 USD on Amazon for some sellers, if you don't mind Used.
Kingston HyperX Savages 120G float @ ~$62 on Amazon and are generally pretty good.
If you need a 240G, the PNY CS1311 looks like a better budget SSD than a BX200. A Sandisk Ultra II can also be found on Amazon for about the same price, and it has better benches.
You're going to have some heavy trade-offs for that price point though. Whether it comes to performance or capacity. You can see the large discrepency between budget SSDs and higher-end ones in this review.
