Anyway maybe I didn't state clearly enough, they are not completely broken, the hook just falls of occasionally, a quick dry glue will certainly be enough and not warrant wasting money on a new pair. I don't have them that long. I just wondered with them being so popular and all the mods that are available someone might have a better idea but failing that I'll just glue them.

I like to fix things anyway. I got a pair of Phillips X2's for €40 euro used not knowing what was wrong with them and fixed them. The drivers were just crinkled up a bit, wasn't hard to push the diaphragm back in place. It pays be able to do a bitta low effort DIY .
