Want some great cargo pants that won't break the budget? Check out these:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01CF3Q4UY/

Hands down the best cargo pants I've owned for the price. I've wore them while hiking, sitting in the dirt, getting dirty water on them, welding, then washed them and wore them to the office the next day still looking great.

As "tactical operator" pants they are designed with utility in mind; they have the pockets you need, and not a bunch of pockets for the sake of pockets. Plus you have utility clips to attach things too if needed. Plenty of belt loops that are all wide and sturdy. There are also tie strings at the cuffs, so you can tie them tight, and stuff 'em in your boots (did this once while hiking; stepped in calve-deep water/mud, and didn't get soaked at all).

Plus stain and water resistant - I've literally splashed gear oil on these pants (accidentally), and watched it bead up and bounce off, like it never touched the fabric. I was shocked and amazed.

The company also sells a great pair of shorts - which are essentially identical to the pants, just - shorter:

Also be sure to check out their other clothing options; the ones I linked to are more or less their "budget line" - they have better options if you are willing to spend the money (be sure to check out their side-holster quick-draw button-down shirts - made to "fast break" at the side to draw a weapon quickly - but still remain looking stylish and "blend in" with a crowd):

I've read many reviews in the LEO crowd who love their stuff; I got into them because I wanted a low-cost pair of cargo pants that would stand up to the wear and tear I'd put them thru, while still looking good while at work. These have done the job perfectly, and still look great after having them for a couple of years now (holding color, function, and fit).
