It's pretty good in my opinion, yeah its only 2560x1080 but I wasn't trying to go for the 4k quality, I was more looking for screen space because I play WoW. So if you're looking for that its perfect.
Are you talking about this one? It's also ultrawide.

Wow! Lots of text for an old thread. It’s smart to save for Black Friday. I didn’t really think about it. Anyways, after thinking for a while, I decided that this is the best monitor for a still semi decent price. It’s on the more expensive side, but I think that it’s the best option. It’s really perfect, but lately, I’ve been wanting to save up for pc specs instead. If I had the money though, I’d instantly get it. If you have any other questions, I’ll try to help you. Good luck!
I recently bought this one and have loved it. Recently decided to return to upgrade to a 1440p UW, but I’d definitely recommend it. I imagine both the freesync and g-sync variants will equally well.
LG 34GL750-B 34 Inch 21:9... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07R5R9VR9?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Do you care about refresh rate and G-Sync? What of games are you playing? To be honest a 2060 is gonna struggle with 1440p widescreen so I would stick with 1080p widescreen.
I would get something 144hz with G-sync and the best value I could find is this LG 34GL750-B 34 inch 21: 9 Ultragear Curved Wfhd (2560 X 1080) IPS 144Hz G-SYNC Compatible Gaming Monitor for ~$516.

I just got the LG 34GL750-B
This is a 2569x1080 display. I chose that resolution based on my GPU which is an RTX 2070. I want to be able to max at all the eye candy in the games I play and still get close to or above 100 FPS.
I almost got a 1440P model based on everyone saying how text will be pixilated at the lower resolution, but I took a chance with what I ordered anyway . I am pleased to report that text is clear as day for me, and games look and run great.
So go for the 2560x1080. It is still 25% more pixels than a 16:9 1080p monitor.
Also when going as big as 34" you want the curve. Otherwise you will end up turning your head more to see the outer sides of the screen. Having a curve makes the outside fall more into your natural peripheral vision.

That is the Amazon link to the one I got.
It is 34"
2560x1080
Freesync - and certified by Nvidia as GSync Compatible
144Hz
IPS screen
5ms response with 1ms blur reduction
This is the newer version of the LG you linked and having it be Nvidia certified for GSync will eliminate your worries about compatibility .
-edit 2-
So there is ONE major difference between the older LG you linked and mine.
The one I linked is GSync certified, but it is truly using Freesync.
The one you listed is full GSync, hence the higher price. But the one I have is in Nvidia's list of tested and certified monitors now that they support Freesync. So go for the one I posted as it has a higher refresh rate to boot.
I am getting 0 light bleed, all my games run buttery smooth and HDR looks good on the one game I own that supports it (Star Wars Battlefront 2)
So it looks like the new LG model you linked is about $495 pre-order. Can you tell me what I'd be missing by ordering the 34" curved monitor that looks about the same on specs and about $15 more expensive?

I'm not great with monitors, I'm not a big gamer, nor competitive, but I want a high quality monitor for videos and movies.
LG 34GL750-B for $525. (2560 x 1080) IPS 144Hz G-SYNC Compatible with FreeSync as well. HDR10 but I’m sure that part is a gimmick.
> "I don’t recommend this one. I had one at one point and it was way too dim. Brightness is 250 on an IPS panel. The 89g-b is 300. There’s also the LG 34GL750-B. FreeSync with G-Sync compatibility. Pretty much the same specs as the 89g-b though except it has HDR10 (although I think it’s a gimmick and bad to turn on)."
