Headphones.
Edit. I assume downvotes are because people think I'm being sarcastic or something. Get yourself a pair. They are great! https://www.amazon.com/LG-Wireless-Bluetooth-Stereo-Headset/dp/B0052YFYFK

I had my favorite pair stolen today. It's a sad sad day. That being said, they are noise canceling and sound fantastic. they have their own volume control so it can go way up. they have around 10-12 hours in them and charge in about 2. I'll definitely be buying a new pair...

edit: here's the amazon link that convinced me I needed to try them. look at the review count and stars.

Time to go wireless OP. I'm using these bluetooth headphones
http://www.amazon.com/LG-Wireless-Bluetooth-Stereo-Headset/dp/B0052YFYFK

sound quality is great and the controls are right at the neck band, can play/pause back forward and volume, there is also built in noise cancelling mic for calls and vibration for incoming calls and notifications. Battery life is also better then i was expecting.

These. You're welcome.

Here's the wireless headset I like. It rests around your neck and you can use one or both ear inserts. I like inserts better than the type that wrap around the ear.

I haven't used it with my Rift (no blue tooth adapter on my computer) but I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work just fine.

u/seanspotatobusiness · 3 pointsr/videos

LG HBS-700 are a good compromise between wirelessness and decent battery life. https://www.amazon.com/LG-Wireless-Bluetooth-Stereo-Headset/dp/B0052YFYFK

I think you are looking for something like this.
A couple guys I work with have these and they say that they work great.

I bought a set of LG Tone Wireless earbuds a few months ago, and they might as well be surgically attached to my neck, because they are amazing.

http://www.amazon.com/LG-Wireless-Bluetooth-Stereo-Headset/dp/B0052YFYFK/ref=sr_1_2?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1375290811&sr=1-2&keywords=lg+tone+wireless+bluetooth+stereo+headset

The sound quality is fantastic, the charge lasts... days, it syncs with all of my devices that support bluetooth, and one of my favorite realizations recently is that when I'm on my motorcycle and riding with a helmet on, I can still have my GPS turn by turn so I don't have to keep pulling over and looking at my phone. They're well made, they are very very comfortable to wear.

Hi!

I tried using a bluetooth headset on my PC before and it didn't work as I expected it to. I bought this LG 700 bluetooth headset. The audio quality sounded like a cellphone over mumble both the audio in and out. But with bluetooth you can set it up to be either stereo headphones, or a headset. Headset setting lets you use the mic, but it makes the quality sound like a phone headset. Headphone setting makes the quality much much better, but you cannot use the mic.

So, you could get a bluetooth headset like mine, use as bluetooth stereo headphones (good audio quality). Then get a desktop mic that plugs in separately. You'll need to buy a BT headset, mic, and bluetooth adapter though which is probably more than your $75 you have to spend. But I think that is the best solution unless someone else can find a better wireless headset.

I use these: http://www.amazon.com/LG-Tone-Wireless-Bluetooth-Packaging/dp/B0052YFYFK/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1344868897&sr=8-3&keywords=bluetooth+headset

Not having a cord connecting to your phone is awesome. These have good sound and a really good battery life.

u/brandong · 2 pointsr/MTB

I've tried a lot of headphones for riding. These are by far the best:
http://www.amazon.com/LG-Tone-Wireless-Bluetooth-Packaging/dp/B0052YFYFK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1344520712&sr=8-1&keywords=lg+bluetooth

My daily riding is a lot very easy field / dirt path riding on unused land. I found that I can "train" so much longer with music and went searching. I keep my phone in my backpack running strava and bluetooth streaming music to the headphones.

The headphones connect just fine and control all of your music/volume and such. Plus the design keeps the weight on your neck so you can jump or even run and jog without them slipping down like a lot of other bluetooth designs will do.

(Bonus is that they also act as a BT headset- you can make and receive calls with them. Also, you should be able to receive txt msg's read aloud with them, but this function doesn't seem to work on my Galaxy Nexus.)

They're also water resistant- I ride in the rain regularly (not to mention, sweat all over them.)

I don't recommend headphones when you're on roads or high traffic trails nor when you're doing anything technical, but if you are looking for something to help bring the fun back in to monotonous mile-logging riding I'd definitely pick up a pair!

u/tsunamikitchen · 2 pointsr/sysadmin

Sort of different, but I use these bluetooth headphones. They are extremely comfortable (I forget I'm wearing them if the earbuds aren't in, and they vibrate for incoming calls. They sit around your neck (so this would only work if you don't toss/turn) which is very noticeable when a call comes in. The battery life is abut 50 hours.

The bonus being that they also make excellent headphones which cut out a ton of background noise and are great for bike riding.

My headphone jack on my phone died, so I have to use bluetooth. Works out, since I use my phone for near everything. I bought these LG Headphones. They're not too bad for quality, pretty comfortable to wear, and great battery life. I can play sound through it constantly for 8 hours, but if its just a couple of times a day, one charge can last for 3 days.

I've used them over night as well. I'll say this; takes a little while to get used to them, but once you do it's like they're not even there.

Also, my laptop has bluetooth, and sound comes through great on it.

u/dmfaber1 · 1 pointr/Nexus7

I have the lg hbs-700
http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0052YFYFK

I will try it with the n7 when I get home and report back. Don't see why it wouldn't work though. And as far as stereo blue tooth headsets go I think it is awesome.

u/yeahokwhynot · 1 pointr/Android

I use my G watch every day (naturally). I wear these LG Tone while commuting by bike (only on the right ear) and while working at the office. The sound is acceptable and I can go days between charges, despite it being a couple of years old now. I'm surprised to see it is $100 now; I'm pretty sure I paid $40 or so.

u/physep · 1 pointr/AskReddit

These just came yesterday.. (Bluetooth Headphones) and I'm really digging them.. I know the sound quality isn't as good as any studio headphones or anything, but I just love no-wires/keep my phone in my pocket/can connect to 2 Bluetooth devices (i.e. cell phone for calls and computer for audio stream).. and for $50, you're not out that much money for how much you'll use them.

u/Dwebster · 1 pointr/gadgets

First off im a audio engineer so what does bad mean?
well ive done all the research and for under 100$ The lg Tone is what i suggest http://www.amazon.com/LG-Wireless-Bluetooth-Stereo-Headset/dp/B0052YFYFK This is what I use and I love them.

u/Volescu9891 · 1 pointr/motorcycles

I've had good luck with These, works great for listening to music and phone calls work pretty decently at anything under highway speeds.

u/Doc_Osten · 1 pointr/Fitness

Here's my suggestion on the technical side of it: get yourself a USB Bluetooth dongle and a pair of these: http://www.amazon.com/LG-Wireless-Bluetooth-Stereo-Headset/dp/B0052YFYFK

I use these all the fricken time, even when exercising, and haven't had any issues with them.

u/drbaloo · 1 pointr/gadgets

I've looked at these, but I have a problem with not being able tell if the cord length is long enough for my fat head. That's why I love LG's Version. I've had them for more than 7 months and don't have any complaints about them. More expensive, but I can lay in bed without pulling my phone off the night stand.

u/berger77 · 1 pointr/AdviceAnimals

lg 730 is the one I use and it has no delay. Well the only time when the delay happens is when their is a phone issue.

u/SaShayLaLu · 1 pointr/AskReddit

what way are you going to use them? Ipod? Phone? Computer? I got a set of bluetooth headphones and am completely in love. I ADORE them. I can leave my phone charging and listen to music or the radio anywhere in the house and even on the back porch no problem. When I'm running after a bus I don't have to worry about a cord flopping or getting caught on my arm. and they charge with your standard mini-pin USB.

LG Tone

u/antininja · 1 pointr/AdviceAnimals

I just got these. I haven't had 'em long enough to comment on the battery life, but coworkers say they last more than a workday. Good enough for me.

u/jackedsquat · 1 pointr/Fitness

LG makes this really solid one that's almost like a necklace. Any of these would probably be a good bet.

u/Garage_Dragon · 1 pointr/motorcycles

I've been using these with pretty good results. The sound quality is not exactly wonderful, but it's loud enough to drown out the wind.

http://www.amazon.com/LG-HBS-700-Wireless-Bluetooth-Headset/dp/B0052YFYFK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1331164735&sr=8-1

I have a Ram mount for my phone which is what I use to connect to them.

u/93_Vector · 1 pointr/wallstreetbets

I don't have a single song on my iPhone either, but I play the shit out of Pandora. I use a pair of LG Bluetooth earbuds though. The battery life is incredible.

u/beanbaz · 1 pointr/starcitizen

just stream via smartphone through some bluetooth earbuds. keep one ear on the show and the other on your wife. just have her drive. here is the bt headset i use...
http://www.amazon.com/LG-Wireless-Bluetooth-Stereo-Headset/dp/B0052YFYFK

u/segue1007 · 0 pointsr/motorcycles

For music, I hope? Probably not, but wireless bluetooth motorcycle headsets are pretty popular. They have glove-friendly controls on the headset to change songs and adjust volume (and the "headset" is actually around your neck, outside your helmet).

Here are two:

And here's a bike thread discussion about them:

They aren't the greatest quality of sound but I love my LG Tone. Its a Bluetooth head seat that sits on your neck. It has a 30 foot distance so I can wander around and not worry about ripping my ear buds out of my ears.
