Can't post a picture of my hair right now as I'm at work, but I'll try to use some references to show what s/he might mean.

See how in this picture the model has his hair pushed up and out at the hairline? Your hair isn't as thick it seems so it won't look exactly the same, but try throwing in some product, I recommend Lockhart's matte clay in your hair to keep it above your hairline.

You can also try parting it from the side it grows from, similar to the picture i referenced above. This gives you the option of going with a fade/undercut which is super comfortable for the summer and also solves the less "round haircut" that /u/OldVanguard recommended.
