I use these to lst. Anchor it into the soil itself or just sorta bend it around edge of pot to hold in place. Whatever works. Some people drill holes around the top edge of the pot and use them to anchor their string or rope or whatever they’re using.

I don’t know how it affects transplanting because I don’t ever transplant. I germinate seeds in wet paper towel and when they’re ready I plant them directly into the pot they’ll be in their entire life. Usually 3 gallon pots

Something like this works great, cheap and reusable. Tying down when supercropping will help a lot instead of just supercropping.
