I have two. One is a smaller cylinder and the other is a larger rectangle one. the small one was good for small projects but I prefer my large rectangle. It has a storage space and a cover and a ton of zippered pockets. It does have holes for the yarn but that "lid" is open to the storage area so if you're worried about it you could just pull the yarn out through that hole. This is the one I use and is by far the best thing I've ever bought for crochet
