What you are doing is dangerous, I strongly recommend you just throw that dongle away.
You CANNOT go from USB Type-C to any other type of port with a dongle. That is explicitly forbidden by the USB spec for good reason, as USB C can supply such high amounts of charge, converting blindly to other ports can cause fires.
The short answer to your problem, is you're going to need to buy a USB Type-C to mini/micro USB cable, and not a dongle. The cable will know it's only a mini/micro port and be incapable of charging at the full USB Type-C speeds, but it will charge your speaker properly.
The dongle you own is trying to trick the USB C cable into working with a different type of port, which is why it could be very dangerous because the USB cable itself doesn't know what type of charge to properly send.
If you want to use a dongle, you have to go the other direction, with micro/mini to USB C, which will then limit USB C to the slow charge speed that the cable can actually handle.
EDIT: Just to note, since your pictures are very vague. If that Samsung charger does not have a detachable cable, you'll also need a different charger, where the USB C cable is detachable.
Here are some suggestions to get you down to just a single charger and 1/2 cables:

Cables:
As a final note, you can also find dongles similar to what you have already, but they need to be the opposite of what you have. The dongle should always have the male part as USB Type-C, with the female part being Mini or Micro, such as this dongle. Just be aware whenever you do that, you're giving up some potential charging speed, as you're then limited to the older cable's specs. For example, that Samsung charger you have might be around 18w if it came with a phone or 30w if it came with a Chromebook, but if you charge with a micro cable, it would be limited to somewhere between 5-15w.
I'd recommend getting a charger from a well known brand. Anker is regarded as one of the best when it comes to aftermarket chargers.
They sell a few 60W chargers (stock is 65W, but the Anker 60W charger I use is practically the same charging time).
I'm not sure if these are sold by Amazon MX, might need to purchase from eBay, etc:

Cool, is that this model here? Did you select any cable in particular to connect the charger to your T480s?
Yeah, for travel i bought this:

And there is a new Anker going on sale next week that might be even better. Second usb-c port is key.

What about a charger like this? https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07BQJWDRM/ref=psdcmw_12557637011_t2_B0719KV9PH
Has anyone been able to get this adaptor (or the cable) to charge at greater than 30W with the surface pro 6 i5? I've been testing the adaptor with a Satechi usbc multimeter, and it never draws more than 15V@2A, while the official power brick that comes with the the system draws roughly 36W (rated at 44W).
I'm using a Anker 60W charger with USB-C PD support (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07BQJWDRM/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1), according to the specs on the bottom of the charger, it supports 5V@3A, 9V@3A, 15V@3A, and 20V@3A, I was hoping to get 15W@3A out of it. Or do I need a brick that supports 12V@3A
Not complaining too much though, it does charge the device no problem, but is much slower when the device is under any heavy load.

Unsure if its entirely safe, but it works for me

This one works fantastic for me. I still have the old laptop charger but I prefer this one.
I like this one better.
Thanks, the charging worked when I bought a USB-C charger. Although, the first charger I bought did not work, even though it was 60 watts. So there seems to be firmware compatibility issues with some chargers. The one that worked for me is the 60 watt Anker.
The cable itself is cheap it can be found on Amazon for about $15. the most important part is your USB C PD device has to do 15 volts.
I just bought this cable a few days ago
15V Surface Connect to USB-C... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07PVRL4R5?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I am using it with the following USBC PD wall charger
Anker USB Type-C with Power Delivery 60W USB Wall Charger, PowerPort Speed 1 for MacBook Pro/Air 2018, iPad Pro 2018, HTC 10, Nexus 5X/6P, LG G6, Pixel C/3/2/XL, MateBook, HP Spectre, Moto Z and More https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07BQJWDRM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_BnnXCbF6A14FJ
you don't have to use that one but as long as it supports the 15 volt PD profile you are good
Wall block like this
Quick Charge 3.0, Anker 18W 3Amp USB Wall Charger (Quick Charge 2.0 Compatible) PowerPort+ 1 for Galaxy S9/S8/Edge/Plus, Note 8/7, LG G4, HTC One A9/M9, Nexus 9, iPhone, iPad and More
Or this
[Anker USB Type-C with Power Delivery 60W USB Wall Charger, PowerPort Speed 1 for MacBook Pro/Air 2018, iPad Pro 2018, HTC 10, Nexus 5X/6P, LG G6, Pixel C/3/2/XL, MateBook, HP Spectre, Moto Z and More] (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07BQJWDRM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_WArSCbKQJ9010)
I just bought a combo like that, but I went with the 60w single PD port brick. I recommend the same. It works.
Using an underpowered adapter risks overheating its components or sending faulty power to your expensive SP. Guess what isn’t covered under warranty? I wouldn’t risk it.

My initial reactions:
Look at it this way... The regular price for PowerPort Atom PD 1 is just $4 more expensive than PowerPort Speed 1 USB-C 30W. At $54.99, PowerPort Atom PD 2 will cost $18 more than PowerPort Speed 1 USB-C 60W.
Although the specs may have changed since this was initially unveiled in January 2018 or re-announced in October 2018, it doesn't look much different in the picture. This means the device is not so small/light... It's hard to imagine this is using GaN.
It has been over 15 months since the initial unveiling at CES 2018.
We already know something that appears to be much more compact is coming soon.
I suspect we'll eventually see a version with 60W PD and PowerIQ 2.0 to make for a more ideal solution for those with a combination of high-power PD laptops and QC phones.
The more PD solutions Anker offers, the better.
Was thing about getting this one
You could, but if you want to stick to a more mainstream brand take a look at something like this - yes it's similar in price to the official Lenovo but it does have a removable cable which was what you were looking for.

Turn off background app refresh for everything but what you need, if you are doing heavy stuff like gaming get more chargers for different locations in your house where you might setup or buy a USB-C portable battery pack.

I couldn't get the ANKERCH3 code to work. Is it a mistype or is the deal not yet/no longer live?

one of these? I can't figure out which one works and which one has the actual cord that would go between the laptop and the charger
Not that I've heard of. But this question was asked previously on this post

> Anker 60W works very well.

If i understand correctly, you are charging with 19 watts (2A x 9V), while the normal laptop charger is capable of 65 watts (3.25A x 20V), which means you are charging more than 3 times slower.
Ive seen many recommending the Anker charger:
https://www.amazon.com/Anker-Delivery-Charger-PowerPort-Matebook/dp/B07BQJWDRM
The best is 60W Anker USB-C with Power Delivery (PD) Wall Charger

For this purpose I would recommend this instead: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07BQJWDRM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_t1_yt3RCbDZ6XARB
This charger is 60W instead of 45W and is cheaper. Belkin products are usually marked up a bit too much for my liking. You will have to buy a separate cable for this charger though (Anker also makes some really nice ones)
