Wow you and I are so similar! I too changed up my routine recently to exactly what yours is, including the recent addition of SPF. Personally I feel like that has made the biggest difference in keeping my skin even. I recently bought a pack l those micro makeup removing cloths and have been lovinggg them.
I also enjoy using a face mask a few times a month. Especially helps if do a mask right after a night where I got too lit to take off my makeup (oops).

A plush microfiber cloth has been my replacement for wipes and pads which I think are wasteful. I use these (www.amazon.com/dp/B01CRB3PLA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_QQ-QDb3B46J2K) and I love them but just about all the microfiber towels are the same!
I just bought these a week or so ago, and they work great! I don't wear eyeliner typically, but they remove my mascara, brow products, eyeshadow, etc., just fine. And the rest of my face makeup as well. I'm impressed!
