Alright cool, thanks for that.

I'm a big fan of Marantz. You could get something like this but you don't really need to. It comes with a network player that supports Spotify, bluetooth, etc., as well as a nice amplifier.

Personally, I'd get that amp with a Google Chromecast Audio.

Unfortunately, they discontinued the CCA, but it still works so it doesn't really matter. You can get them at Newegg. You'll want one of those and one of these cables and you'll be able to stream directly from the CCA and use the DAC inside the amp by using optical. The only downside here is that you have to use your phone to control the song, and you can't just use a remote. But you also save $600 so up to you.

In case you're unaware, a DAC is a Digital to Analog Converter. It changes the 1s and 0s from a computer to waves that a speaker can read. Your phone has a DAC, and so does a computer. However, those usually aren't very good. The one in the Marantz will be better, which is why you'll want to use optical.

Anyways, that's what I'd do. The Marantz amp that I linked to has a phono stage so you can listen to vinyl if you ever care to, it has a USB port so you can plug in your computer, and it has RCA inputs for your phone.

Also, when Zeos says to get a crown, he's talking about an amp. You don't want one of those. They have a ton of power and people think that's a good thing, but really it isn't. Not all watts are created equal. I'd rather have this $800 amp that only has 20wpc than one of those Crown amps that have a million watts. I had a 30wpc amp in my living room for a while and I had no problems. I would have much rather had that than a bad 1000wpc amp. Also, the Ohms aren't inefficient, so it really doesn't matter.

So, you want to go with a good amp and it will make your speakers really sing. Denon, Marantz, Hegel, PS Audio, etc. Some pro-audio amplifier with a thousand watts isn't going to matter to you.
