The recent Marvel Team up mini between Kamala and Spider was a big hit. I think that one is coming in November with both adventures (one with Spidey and one with Captain Marvel).
Outside of Marvel I'll suggest Amulet, Phoebe and the Unicorn, Dogman and Canto.
My six year old loves the Marvel Super Hero Adventures comics. They are geared towards young kids. The first several issues are a team up with Spider-Man and another hero and teach a lesson like "working as a team" the recent issues have been holiday specials featuring Captain Marvel. They are drawn in a cute cartoony style.
She also likes the Marvel Rising comics, these tie in with the Marvel Rising movie released recently on Disney Channel. And there is dolls and other merchandise you can find at Target or wherever for this line. You can get the whole story as a paperback for less then $10 ($7.40 on Amazon). This is a team up with Squirrel Girl and Ms. Marvel, my daughters two favorite heroes.
She loves Squirrel Girl but they aren't the easier to read to her as those comics tend to be real wordy. I've heard good things about Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur, but my local comic shop doesn't carry them, so I haven't given that a try yet.
