A really good preparation for passing/maxing pt tests for me was a book written by a retired Captian. Forgot his name but I met him and he also signed the copy of his book for me. Super cool guy. It is mainly for killing pt tests, but other routine weight lifting plans are encouraged once out of basic training. Here is the Amazon link. Do yourself a favor and get this book (10 bucks).
