I encourage you to head over to /r/headphones and have a look at some of their guides. Only do that if you really want to ask yourself a lot of questions about what you want in a set of IEMs.

I consult this buying guide whenever someone asks me or if I'm looking to purchase something new. Even if the recommended model doesn't have a a mic there usually is a different model number that does so definitely check on amazon.

Quick recommendations:

They're not perfect, but the MEE Audio M6 Pro's are not bad and they're super cheap. They come with Comply tips which make a huge difference in isolation over the typical silicone buds.

u/Jib_ · 8 pointsr/Fitness

When earbuds break it is indeed usually the wire that goes.

My solution is to use earbuds with replaceable cables - I use these for the gym https://www.amazon.com/MEE-audio-Universal-Fit-Noise-Isolating-Detachable/dp/B00SLVB71Q (come with a replacement cable, I've used maybe 2 or 3 cables in 2 years, the headphones should sell for ~30 USD at a sale) and these for home/sleeping: https://www.amazon.com/Shure-SE215-K-Isolating-Earphones-MicroDriver/dp/B004PNZFZ8/ (I've worn out two cables in ~two years, they cost 10-20 USD to replace).

Get a case to carry them around in, stick the wire inside your shirt, and you're mostly fine. Both of those also have bluetooth accessory cables to buy separate if you decide you do want to go with a bluetooth solution (as do most other decent in-ear headphones).

u/Dgfreeman · 6 pointsr/livesound

do you NEED wireless?
i donut in 90% of my gigs so i use wired in ear monitoring. I send the mix to these

They are cheap and effective and can blend two input signals together if needed. They DO NOT have any limiters on board so if you need that function, you can route your mix to a comp/limiter first, like I do.

Couple those with These Monitors

And you have a $100 / person in ear system.

I love mine

I'm going to vouch for the MEE audio M6 PRO. I bought mine in October of 2015 and have used them almost daily. Currently I use them while snowboarding and I've got 50 days with them in so far this season.

They come with two sets of wires as the actual ear phone piece is detachable. It comes with plenty of different sized pieces that go in your ear so you can find which is most comfortable for you.

I'm not the most careful with my headphones so these things have taken a beating and the only thing wrong with them is the extra support on the 3.5mm male end has broken away, I can take a photo if you'd like. Unfortunately after a night out I stepped on them so the one detachable ear piece broke and spins around freely but still plays music just fine.

They also have a bendable wire inside so you can shape it to how you want behind your ear and it'll stay that way.

They're definetly affordable at $59.99 Canadian.

Maybe the MEE M6 Pros. They're designed as musician's in ear monitors and get really loud and have a wider sound stage than most earbuds. From my experience with forgetting to check the volume when playing a song and scaring the shit out of myself, I think they'll do well.

These are pretty good, and not very expensive. Commonly used by drummers, and those who don't want to spend the extra cash for a pair of Shure se215 IEM.

Meelectronics M6 Pro I've been recommending them many times recently lol but that's because I love them. Very balanced sound, detachable cables (and a spare one included), case, foam tips, and even an inline remote compatible with Samsung phones.

u/tdavi006 · 2 pointsr/MusicBattlestations

Agreed that they're not going to define your ability to make music, but having them really sets you on a good path.

What I mean is that when you can hear your projects/mixes/sound designs through monitors, you can start to develop your ear in ways that normal desktop speakers/headphones just can't do.

However! Amazon has some really cheap in ear monitors that are basically a set of ear buds that have a great frequency range and can achieve the same "practice" that monitors can.

u/kindamostlyharmless · 2 pointsr/ChronicPain

I bought a pair of decent ear buds and put high fidelity ear plugs (they have a hole in tee center to let through a little sound if you want) on the ends so they're super isolating. They're amazing, but sadly the ones I use are out of manufacture. I'm still looking for replacements because mine are crumbling, I'm try to let you know if I find a new set that works.

Edit: nevermind, it's these plugs http://www.moldex.com/government-division/hearing-protection/reusable-earplugs/battleplugs.php and these ear buds https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00SLVB71Q/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1. They were $20 cheaper a month ago so camelcamelcamel them.

u/xPurplexAnarchyx · 2 pointsr/headphones

I'd recommend the Meelectronics M6 Pro but I'd also like to recommend the Audio-Technica ATH-IM50 and if you're able to stretch your budget a bit you can go for the Shure SE215.

u/jmrsplatt · 2 pointsr/drums

Well not exactly... sometimes... sometimes you can take a monitor mix (sound guy's mix for the band to hear) into your in-ears but the venue doesn't always have the capability, and at small clubs you just don't usually have the time. If I'm using a click and the club doesn't have a monitor for the drummer, and I'm making my own mix... I'll have a mixer to my left out of the way and take a direct output from my lead guitar and bass. I put a cheap mic in the kick (usually sm57, it works enough to hear), and a mic on the snare if I can... although I'm getting some triggers soon and might experiment with putting the trigger in the mix for the snare.. could be weird only having the sample sound. This all takes some practice, money obviously, some frustration with cables, have to be able to adjust volumes and levels on the fly. I'm able to pan everyone to my right ear and have click only in the left to really isolate that metronome... Although I've been experimenting with other balances. I highly recommend these in-ears... They are $50, but are very near professional quality... they come with many inserts including foam that work like ear plugs. They also include two cables with ear molding, one for audio only, and one with a mic that works with phones. They also make a cheaper, $17 version that are decent. M6 Pro http://www.amazon.com/MEE-audio-Universal-Fit-Noise-Isolating-Detachable/dp/B00SLVB71Q Dang, they've gone down to $40.. sick.

For loud shows you really need to rely on your knowledge of... everything... everything loud and soft... what playing near the edge of your drum sounds like, rim shot or ping or flam, cymbal embellishments... do these light touches actually sound to the audience? Does this crash sound abrasive? Can they even hear the toms when I do paradiddles on them? These questions are answered really only by listening... listening back to a recording if you can get a hold of a copy.. I always record audio with my cell phone if I can and listen on the way home in the car or to rehearsal or something. Turn all sound input volume's down to record a listenable quality.

On top of everything... every show is different... every venue has quirks... every sound guy has... uhh.. issues. Just kidding sound guys, I love you.

Edit... This all sounds kinda sad in conclusion.. Because as a musician you almost never have good sound at a rock show... or loudish show. ... I'm not saying the new digital technology for on stage sound isn't improved, and isn't out there.. I just haven't dealt with it yet... Not exactly a big timer, hah. Just do any gig I can get my hands on and love playing.

u/bugnutinsky · 2 pointsr/headphones

I have the M6 Pro and have found it a really good piece of headset for the price.

u/swordknight · 2 pointsr/headphones

Hi and welcome to /r/headphones!

Glad to see that you want to make the step towards trying something new, although hopefully you don't fall into the rabbit hole like many of us have in this hobby :-)

The IE2 is an okay IEM from my memory, definitely not worth the retail price ($100~ i believe?) but ok at $49 in terms of sound. For your budget, the RHA MA750 is a very solid pair, especially if you're looking for a deeper audio profile. RHA's customer service team is very good and their 3 year warranty is quite sound; along with their actual sound too!

>if better options will cost me double the price of the replacement, but not double the quality.

How about something that's less the price of the replacement, but with better quality? The RHA S500 is a fantastic relatively new IEM that's extremely good value right now. It boasts a clear and detailed sound and a small form factor, in contrast to its larger sibling the MA750 (which has a warmer and more bassy sound).

The Meelec M6 PRO is also a great IEM at a low price. Detachable cables means that "replacing" them when they break is a lot cheaper and more simple, as the cable is the most common breakpoint in IEMs.

Hope that helps!

u/LedditHiveMind · 2 pointsr/Earphones

I can't help you here, sorry. Headphones such as these need to be taken care of if you expect them to last, and therefore shouldn't be expected to stick around long if you sleep in them and stuff them in your pocket.

With your next headphones, I recommend buying a small, pocket-size case and nicely wrapping the headphones up and putting them in before putting the headphones in your pocket. For your headphones to last longest, wrap headphones using the over-under method: http://youtu.be/7BdHxygbYWk

My quick recommendation would be the Mee Audio M6 Pro. Not only are they durable, and sound good, but they have removable cables. Cables are often the part that fails on headphones, especially when they are exposed to conditions such as those you described. These headphones come with a cable, a replacement cable, and is able to take cables you buy online too as replacements.

The KZ Ate or the MEE M6 if you are willing to spend a little more would be good options. The MEE cable is replaceable and comes with 2 so that should help on the durability front because its usually the cable that fails.

u/ocinn · 2 pointsr/headphones

Well, you can get these a little over for $100. Or these if you don't care about cables for $45.

And they both would be better (sounding) and would stay in your ear better.

u/dissonantdame · 2 pointsr/UBC

Hey OP, for the same reasons you listed I've never been an earphones person either but lately someone convinced me to go against my prejudices and I ended up buying these, and they're actually very good. Shure is a great brand, and if you look at the SE215s you'll see that they come with a case as well as multiple extra earbuds in case they get lost. (My M6 Pros are the first pair of earphones I've had where the earbuds actually stay in place--they're even somewhat difficult to remove by hand.) Point being, OP, don't hold yourself back from some phenomenal headphones just because they're in-ear--the expensive ones will naturally be much better quality than you may be used to from cheaper copies.

u/CLErox · 2 pointsr/Authentic_Vaping

Actually yes! I picked these up a few months ago and they are FANTASTIC! People that are more knowledgable than me say they compete with some of the much more expensive IEM's out there.

And their CS is great, a couple of weeks after getting them I ripped the cord from the microphone control, totally my fault, so I switched it to the cord with no mic and hit them up. I told them I broke it and they said no problem and just sent me a new one.

I can't recommend these enough, for 50 bucks you can't beat it.

I ride with some buds that block the wind noise very well using some foamy tips, and then you can listen to music without your ears getting blasted. It makes such a huge difference on a longer ride, don't get tired as easily. I know one time I got off the bike before I started using them and everything was temporarily quiet, like in war movies after a blast goes off. Knew then that I was f-ing up my hearing.

The Shure SE-215 earbuds are what I use. Unfortunately I also had to buy a separate cable to get the inline pause/skip/volume control. I want the phone in my pocket, not on the bars.

I also had a decent experience with the Mee M6 Pro if you want to save a few bucks, but the foamies that came with them fell apart in less than a year, the Shure's seem more durable. Probably cheap to replace. It did come with two cables in the box though, one with the inline controls.

u/thanksforcomingout · 1 pointr/headphones

hey guys, hoping to get some quick help on buying. Coming from an iPhone and the standard apple earbuds, I'm now using a Google Pixel and need a pair of decent, cheap-ish earbuds. I have a pair of OE Bose for more stationary listening so just looking for something small, portable, and decent to good quality. Went through the stickies on sound signature & usage, etc, so for reference:

  • looking for IEMs (no over-ear or on-ear)
  • using them primarily for my commute to/from work (~30m to and from + some street/walking time) and for short to medium drives
  • need a mic for phone calls
  • would love for them to be bluetooth but not required
  • neutral sound sig - I listen to a range of music, podcasts, and calls on my phone so they need to be able to handle all 3 fairly well
  • somewhat noise-canceling
  • not really picky on over-the-ear vs straight down fit; whatever provides more value
  • In Toronto, so you know... cold winters if it matters
  • ~$50 budget

I'd like to keep the price within $50 but I'm willing to spend a bit more if the value is that much better. Based on articles I've read and comments from others the Mpow Swift,MEE audio M6 PRO, ADV M4, and Brainwawz Deltas all seem like recommended, decent buys.

Are the ones i've linked to fairly well received here? Are there any other recos anyone can give?

    Really appreciate any help. Cheers

u/fuckflyingpigs · 1 pointr/headphones

What's the difference between the MEE Audio m6 pro and the standard m6? The reviews say that anyone not using the earbuds should stick to the standard m6, which is only $17 compared to $50, and that they sound the same, but there has to be a catch. What's the difference between the "studio" version and the standard?

u/BioDefault · 1 pointr/audiophile

Would anyone mind helping me pick out an IEM? I don't need bass, but it would be a plus, I'm looking at under 100, but could easily spend more. I got hit by a car, and my zero audio bassos got trashed.

I could just go and get some recommended somewhere else, but I trust you guys. I'm not an audiophile, but I will be eventually. Can't wait to get some replies.

EDIT: Decided to settle with these. The most helpful review sold them.

I'm in the same boat (drummer, I assume). Recently purchased some MEE M6-PROs as they were on sale for $40 (now $48). I run a click off my phone and the monitor out from our vocals mixer at practice/my monitor mix at shows into a cheap little Behringer mixer I keep by my kit and use the IEMs out from there. Eventually I'll go wireless with it and probably upgrade the IEMs as well. For now here's my review:

Pros: cheap as fuck and seem to be of at least a fairly decent sound quality- I'm not super well versed with how good IEMs can sound, but these sound better than any earbuds or headphones I've used that cost <$100. With the provided foam tips they're significantly louder and cancel out more noise than any of the other cheap foam or rubber earbuds I had before. They're comfortable enough to wear all day at work, through a 3 hr practice, or an hour+ gig. The memory wire and wire clip keep them in place and keep the wires from danging around all over the place. They came with 2 sets of cables* (one has a mic and volume slider so you can use it for phone calls), 1 set of foam tips, multiple rubber tips, an 1/8-1/4" adapter, and a nice little case.

CONS: for some reason the 1/8 plug doesn't play nicely with other 1/8-1/4 adapters, but I've only tried with a couple and it comes with one so no huge deal. The biggest con I've found is that with one set of the wires (the set without the mic) the right side monitor is finnicky. I'm not sure if there's an issue with the leads, QC, or what, but it has a tendency to cut out and then you have to wiggle it in your ear a bit to fix it (several others on Amazon mentioned this in their reviews). I don't have this problem with the wires that have the mic, so I pretty much just use those. Again, not really a big issue for me- the sound from either set of wires seems to be identical so whatever. That said, the cables could be longer. They're a great length for using as ear-buds, but for how I had my shit set up they were too short and I had to move my little mixer table closer to my kit, again not really a big deal.

Verdict: They're definitely good enough for me, for now. The main things I was looking for were noise protection/enough volume to hear the click over drums, comfort, and cheapness. I wish that both sets of cables worked, but that's less of a con so much as a not-pro. Eventually I'll upgrade them but for now these get the job done.

Budget - 150$

Source - Laptop mostly

Requirements for Isolation - A must have. Will be using at home when it's really loud most of the time.

Preferred Type of Headphone - Conflicted between IEM and full-size right now. I want the portability and isolation of the IEMs but I feel like I can get so much more from regular headphones at the same price point.

Preferred tonal balance - Nothing really preferred since I'm new to all this

Past headphones - Cheap 20$ hand-me-down from a friend

Preferred Music - All sorts

What would you like to improve on from your set-up - I want something durable that'll last for a good while. Need isolation above all else though.

I've been looking at the Shure 215 and the RE400 as my top picks so far. But I can get the ATH m40x for the same price as the 215s. Any advice?

Edit: The m6 pros look like a nice cheaper alternative too.

Are these good for under $50?
They seem to have a high end accessory package, and are rated well. I have a $50 Amazon giftcard, are there any better than these I could look into for <$70? I would probably run with them, but that's not a real problem. Has to be from Amazon, of course.

As far as cheap in ears go, these are the best ones I've used. Though, you might want to get different tips, as the ones they come with are kind of uncomfortable. Generally, I like these!

If you want something a bit more expensive, I've been a huge fan of Meelectronics headphones. Really good sound stage, and they seal out sound real nice.

Though I have no idea if her team brought them for her or if the show's production team provided them for her. Seems like it might be a one-time use thing (as Arnold's earphones are different than hers) or both she and Arnold didn't want to use the standard studio headphones they use on the show and opted to bring their own earphones.

Alright, Also do you consider yourself a big fan of sub-bass? I'm thinking about recommending the classic Schiit Magni 2 amplifier and Modi 2 DAC combo with the Sennheiser HD-600s. These are for home use only as they require a USB connection via your computer for the DAC, and the amp is definitely not portable haha. Those are a fantastic pairing, but the Sennheisers are a little bit lacking in the low end. Absolute magic in the mids and treble though. This is an endgame combo for many people.

Those Senns are open back, so they leak sound but provide a better soundstage compared to an closed-back pair. When it comes to closed back headphones, (Isolated - doesn't leak sound) I really, really recommend ZMF Vibros They are quite a bit more expensive, but an absolute endgame pair of planar dynamic closed back cans. The bass response is unreal on these pairs and work very, very well with hip-hop, electronic music, and pop. The Schiit amp and dac above would drive these just fine.

For the gym, I'd just get a pair of these MEE Audio M6 Pro In-ear monitors, or a good old pair of Koss Porta Pros if you don't like the IEM style. Both of those would be fine options, as they aren't super expensive but still sound great, and are durable. Just plug into your phone and you're set.

For any case though, do try to audition headphones before you buy anything! This will give you a solid idea of what kind of pair you're looking for.

Yeah I have used hearing protection before. Haven't had any real experience with proper in ear headphones and helmet wearing since they usually dont feel nice in my ears. I've been thinking about buying these headphones that ryanf9 from FortNine recommeded.

u/Dallagen · 1 pointr/headphones

Oh if you're leaving them on a desk that's fine, the case is for not having the wire under stress in your pocket and breaking them, as that's how most IEMs break.

Just picked up a set of these.

MEE audio M6 PRO Universal-Fit Noise-Isolating Musician's In-Ear Monitors with Detachable Cables (Clear) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00SLVB71Q/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apap_lONlpgFCUAnYy

Work great, and fit flat in my ears, so comfortable inside helmet. Comes with 2 cables, 1 with mic, 1 without, and a few different types of ear pieces to try out. A little more expensive than I would have liked for earbuds( I previously used a cheap $10 set), but well worth it for the comfort and quality.

Edit: Sena 20s speakers were too quiet on the highway, and road/wind noise was excessive. Now that I have wore earbuds, can't go back. My commute is 1 hour each way on highway, so well worth it. Just make sure you can still hear your surroundings with music off.

u/ninj0e · 1 pointr/headphones

What would you choose between these and the tennmak pro? I could get the tennmak for $35 with shipping.

u/NewAccount1928 · 1 pointr/radiohead

Yeah, it should be. I'm real excited about it!

And about the socializing, it'll be fine I think. I went to see Radiohead the first time during their last tour. Both nights I saw them, the people were relatively nice. People were reasonable, as long as they're not drunk. Shouldn't be anyone that drunk in GA anyway. I reckon I could get someone to hold my spot and at least hold small talk.

I really like your idea with not bringing the bag. The only class I'll have is just going to be a discussion section for calculus so I'll at most need a paper and a pencil, then my food, phone/charger, and wallet.

About ear protection, I have some of these headphones with these tips which might be good for noise suppression. Not sure if it's worth possibly losing them though. Your call really.

I REALLY REALLY appreciate the tips. Thank you so much.

Isolation and greater sound for the price

u/alexdrod · 1 pointr/technology

I wanted to buy some headphones that I had my eye on for a while. Amazon usually sells them for about $42 and the MSRP is listed at $49.99.

Prime day rolled around and Amazon had them listed as a Prime day deal. I was excited to order them but was disappointed to go on and see they were $39.99, a whopping $2 off what they usually are. Amazon listed their regular price as $49.99 making it seem like they were $10 off when the discount was actually far more pathetic than that. I learned that I couldn't trust Amazon's "sales" after that.

These are the headphones in question:
https://www.amazon.com/MEE-audio-Universal-Fit-Noise-Isolating-Detachable/dp/B00SLVB71Q

They are currently $44 but are regularly around $42. I know that $10 isn't THAT much cheaper but that sounds way better than $2 off, which is what they actually were.

u/Spawn3323 · 1 pointr/Rainbow6

I got these. They are great. Come with spare cable and case. Loads of different size "rubber bits" etc. They stay in your ears too.

I use these with my Sound Blaster Z soundcard and I love them.

I got the recommendation from Remorce's Twitch stream.

Heya! I was looking for some IEMs for work and general use and I'd love some advice.

Budget - Something around 50€

Source - Computer or Android Phone

Requirements for Isolation - Would be super helpful a lot of isolation to make calls in public but also be comfortable at home.

Preferred Type of Headphone - IEMs

Preferred tonal balance - I've read that Balanced is the best for conversations, but I'd like to listen to some music and play games with them.

Preferred Music - Prog Rock and Metal

Location - Spain. Would love to use amazon.es

I made some research and those are my current options:

Consider the MEE M6 Pro ($50)

u/SteamboatWillie · 1 pointr/explainlikeimfive

Nah, just bought a standard pair in the internet. I use these: https://www.amazon.com/MEE-audio-Universal-Fit-Noise-Isolating-Detachable/dp/B00SLVB71Q

They are freaking sweet for the price.

u/N2O1138 · 1 pointr/Vive

I got these MEE M6 Pro IEMs unrelated to the Vive, and like them a lot, very good sound.

They've got a "memory wire" which I guess is just some thinnish metal so you can bend the last couple inches of the wire, wrapping it around your ears, and it stays fairly rigid.

u/RoboGeek123 · 1 pointr/audio

I just purchased these for critical mixing and IEM stage use.

They are on par with IEM's double or even triple the price
Pretty comfortable to in my opinion

I know "proper" IEMs are crazy expensive. Not sure what expensive is to you right now, but these actually seem to be decent for the price and will almost certainly work better than the Skull Candy stuff: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00SLVB71Q/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=3JQM3B39CBQ5R&coliid=IWQZT76YIQGJJ&psc=1

Thank you.

If you want IEMS The M6 Pros are the way to go
If you want just earbuds the Yuin PK3's are good aswell.

u/SirCoolo · 1 pointr/BuyItForLife

any idea how they compare to the MEE audio M6 PRO? really like what ive seen of the SHUREs so far, but the MEEs have popped up a few times in reviews for them, just wondering how they stack up.

u/skyriverflight · 1 pointr/headphones

Budget ~150-200$

Source - Pixel 2 / Macbook Pro

Requirements for Isolation - Some. Not a huge priority, but nice to have for public transit.

Will you be using these Headphones in Public? Yes

Preferred Type of Headphone - IEMS or portable over-ear. Possibly bluetooth if there are good options.

Past headphones - MEE audio M6 PRO Liked the sound quality, but they didn’t fit very nicely in my ears, despite trying all of the tips that came with the box.

Brainwavz Delta Black IEM
Again, liked the sound quality, but the buds themselves seemed to be too fat to fit into my ears, even with trying all the tips they gave me.

[Panasonic RP-TCM125-K] (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00E4LGVUO/ref=psdc_172541_t1_B00L2459ZO) Really liked the fit for these. If possible I’d love to find something similar to these in fit, but perhaps a higher quality build or sound quality.

https://www.amazon.com/Sennheiser-HD-598-Cs-Headphone/dp/B01JP436TS Also really like these, but I’ve found that they are too bulky for general portable use.

Preferred Music - Wide range. A lot of quiet female vocalist indie music, as well as a lot of fast and loud ska/punk music. I also listen to a fair amount of spoken audio, such as podcasts and audiobooks. I listen to hip-hop as well, but not as much as the above.

What would you like to improve - As stated in the past headphones section, I am looking to improve the fit of the IEMs that I get. The panasonic ones fit so well compared to the other IEMs I’ve had in the past, so I am looking to get something with a similar fit, but with a better sound stage. Also, I’m looking to try Bluetooth IEMs if anything comes to mind with these requirements, but if not, regular IEMs / over-ears are fine for me.

____

I’ve been eying these: https://www.amazon.com/Jaybird-Bluetooth-Headset-iPhone-Android/dp/B01M7NCT5O and these: https://www.amazon.com/Panasonic-Bluetooth-Headphones-Controller-RP-HJE120B-W/dp/B071R6VX9Q for bluetooth iem options, but as far as I can tell the reviews for them do not seem completely stellar.

I was also looking into ATH-M40Xs as a portable over ear option, but I’m not sure if I want to sacrifice having a microphone on my main pair of portable headphones.

After my soundmagic e10 met a horrible fate a few months back i been looking to replace them finally and was looking at the MEE M6 Pros (https://www.amazon.co.uk/MEE-audio-Universal-Fit-Noise-Isolating-Detachable-Clear/dp/B00SLVB71Q) or the soundmagic e10s, (http://www.hifiheadphones.co.uk/soundmagic-e10s-in-ear-isolating-earphones-with-mic-black-red.html) was hoping for some guidance.

Budget - Up to £40

Source - Ipod, Phone, laptop

Requirements for Isolation - Generally use them to go to work and indoor and outdoor training.

Preferred Type of Headphone - IEM's

Preferred tonal balance - General really but partial to some heavy bass

Past headphones - Soundmagic e10

Preferred Music - Rock, Reggaeton, Dancehall

I use the MEE M6s as my backups, and I know people that use them fulltime - $50 on Amazon. They sound fine, just use the comply tips to get decent isolation. I keep two sets in my bag, one as a backup for me, and one so that I can throw a backup to somebody else and look all "professional" and stuff.
