Sadly I don’t think we are going to see many hubs/changing banks with more than two usb C ports due to it being so new. You might see them starting to show up around 2020 when more companies adopt USB-C connectors and they become cheaper just like you mentioned.
I personally haven’t found a better solution than having a bunch of USB-A to USB-C connectors and using different heads for the different devices that are going to be plugged in. Its just easier to have all five of them each with a Micro and lightning connector on them. The cheapest solution is to get the USB-A to Micro then use C and lightening heads as there are many places out there that offer wires that already have all three attached but my solution is hopefully better suited for the future where USB-C will become the popular connector.
