I pretty much want exactly the same thing. I haven't done any journaling yet, but am considering getting into it. I went to my local Office Max today and they had no journals with dot-grids (I asked), but there were a couple lined/graph journals that were a really nice size, spiral bound, good cover, and good paper... but not dots. The guy I asked jokingly said "we'll probably get them once people stop using them".
I'm considering ordering this one. But maybe more experienced journalers can weigh in on better options. I'm gonna keep an eye on this thread!
