I love body pillows. But I struggle finding one that is long enough to throw an arm and a leg over. I think I’m just going to have to makeone like this , since there’s no way in hell I am going to pay $100 for body pillow. And this pillow probably isn’t long enough/full of enough cushion.

I’m here to save the day! I bought one of these a year ago and now I honestly can’t imagine sleeping without it. Absolute game changer for my sleep

I got one of these and haven't had this problem since. It has something to do with sleeping on your left side so you don't block a nerve:

The only times I've woken up with screaming cramps is if I am not using the pillow to keep my legs separated and my hips aligned. It helps a lot.

I got this one. Crazy expensive, but OMG! SOOOOO comfy!!!! I like all the positions you can put it in compared to some of the other brands. It's also soft enough that it doesn't cause pressure points to form. It is big though. If you have an SO, you will need a kings size mattress to fit this pillow, you, and a second person. Again, worth it. Used to wake up barely able to move from hip and knee pain, and my arms would always be numb. Not any more :-)

Also, I got a memory foam mattress a few years ago, and that reduced my pain and fatigue by about half. Comfort Dreams from Overstock.com, and a metal memory foam specific frame on Amazon. I am sure it has paid for itself in all the pain meds I was able to reduce.

Good luck :-) and air hugs!

Here's a link to the exact one I got from Amazon :)

The real doll is a little out there I'll give you that. But what is devious about body pillows? Tell me THIS doesn't look comfortable

It's expensive but I've got a giant U-shaped body pillow. It's generally marketed at pregnant women, but as a side sleeper it's been a life saver. If you do end up getting one, I strongly suggest cutting a slit up the middle of the U and putting a fabric gusset in. If you don't, it'll eventually rip there anyway. Mine ended up tearing after a few months of use from my shoulder, but since I put the gusset in, it's perfect.
