The 1600 comes with the Wraith Spire cooler, so you don't need to spend the extra money on the CPU cooler. If you're going with the Ryzen CPU you need to pick a new motherboard. The one you've listed is is an LG1151 socket, which is only compatible with Intel's Skylake and Kaby Lake architectures.

Here's the [MSI B350M Mortar Arctic]
(https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06Y67TLSL/?tag=pcpapi-20), which is basically the same board you've picked but it has the correct socket.

MSI mortar Arctic B350 on most recent bios. (Was also at 3.9 on the last bios, FWIW)

Edit: this is the board...

If u don't already have a good Mobo, I got a Brand Spankin' New-Open Box, MSI B350M Mortar Arctic WHITE micro-ATX Motherboard Link for only $75 shipped! Used for less than 2 hours in a test bench. It has the latest BIOS on board and comes with all original accessorize in OG box (SATA cables still sealed!). It's a beautiful Mobo but I decided to go toward the bigger 'n badder X370 Taichi ATX Mobo since it supposedly has the best VRMs within AM4. I'll also throw in a SEALED Silverstone PWM Sleeved Splitter (1 can never have enough fans!, lol) + Feel Free 2 check out my other stuff

I have an OC of 2667. I'm buying a set of 16gb 2400mhz Ripjaws V from a friend for $70. I plan an hopefully getting the same OC on those as well.

This is my MOBO.

I was planning on possibly getting a used 1700/x soon if needed, but if a new 2nd gen R5 would be better I'll go for that.

A GPU upgrade is what would be the most difficult for me. With my case airflow is a huge issue. If it wasn't for the fact that its 63F in my house, the side panel would have to be off right now. I also only have a 550w PSU.

My plan was to get ram, then cpu(or maybe the other way around, hence the reason for this post), then PSU, then a used 1080 from hardware swap. At that point, all he needs is a case and mobo to have his own pc, then I'll take mine back with all the old parts.

I actually don't have the hardware right now as I am below the age to work and must rely on my parents around the holidays to get the parts. I have a build on amazon the I can send you with what I want to buy.
MB (You Can Find it in Full ATX): https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B06Y67TLSL/_encoding=UTF8?coliid=I3QNMQWZ44KXUA&colid=2CYVTYUZ6RNOF
RAM: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B0143UM4TC/_encoding=UTF8?coliid=I1IRFJRQYBX9NU&colid=2CYVTYUZ6RNOF
CPU: 1600
This should all work but you might want to change the RAM to be 8GB.
Also, I don't know how popular PC Builds are in Portugal, but there are a lot in the US.
I have checked all the products and in the questions, people say they had no problem putting two and two together.

Any suggestions in the ~100CAD range? Is this one any better or not?
