There's also Mummies, Disease and Ancient Cultures, edited in part by Aidan and Eve Cockburn, both very prominent Egyptologists. It's not just about Egyptian mummies, either. It's rather academic and uses a fair bit of medical terminology, but it's still an interesting read and Google or a dictionary will clear up unfamiliar terms. I got lucky and found one for £20 at a used book store, after knowing of and wanting the book for years. It's not affordable by any means, but it is a great book.
