I play Adventure Time Munchkin from time to time ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
We tried Card Wars and weren't into it. The starter decks are cheap though and totally worth trying.
We do have other Adventure Time games that see regular play.
Adventure Time Love Letter:

It's just a reskinned version of Love Letter, but it's a great take-along game. Clever role assignment for the characters and the art is great. LSP is the Gossip!
Our favorite is Munchkin Adventure Time:

I wasn't a big fan of the original Munchkin games, but this AT version is awesome! The expansion makes it even better (Dungeon Train! Yay!)
Zombies!!! Easy to learn. Basically you pull a tile and place it, roll to move, roll to kill any zombie you encounter and roll at the end of your turn to move X amount of zombies 1 space. Goal is to reach the Heli-pad when that tile is played.
Munchkin (Adventure Time version) Fun game, medium learning curve, pretty quick play time. 25-45 minutes depending on how things go.
Fluxx It's hard to explain this one, but it's easy to learn. The rules are always changing based on what rule cards are played. They have lots of different versions/themes of the game. I have the zombie one.
Pirateer It might be hard to find this one, but it's a simple game. Start in one of the four corners and the goal is to get the gold in the middle and make it back to your port.
Dread Pirate Similar to Pirateer, but you have to collect a lot more loot before winning.
