I just did my first gel nails within the last month. I bought this lamp: Abody Nail Lamp 48W UV LED Nail Dryer, Gel Nail Lamp with 5 Timer Setting, Automatic Sensor, LCD Display, Memory and Pause Timer Function for Fingernail & Toenail, Pink https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07FCGFB9X/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_yYh0CbHBZ2QY2 , which I used with gelish, curing for 30 sec (as led). Bought a gelish set of the ph base plus “foundation” (base coat) and top coat (also had cuticle oil; was about $30 also on amazon for the set of four) and then a set of gelish mini colors off eBay so I had a few options (amazon had these too but I found cheaper on eBay for same with a well-repped seller). I think I’m $80 in at this point, but it’s worked great so far and I’m definitely happy with the purchase... though I’m obviously new to this so don’t have anything to compare to.
