And since the USB-C cable comes out the back of my radio, I don't have the luxury of (easily) swapping it to a magnetic USB-C cable, so I bought these USB-C Magnetic Adapters:

So far, they work great! Android Auto works on my S9+... the magnet has been pretty strong and it has never disconnected while driving. The downside is you lose the 'Fast Charging', but it still charges fast enough (ie. I don't lose power vs gaining while using it).
