Nope because the lens 55-200 isn't the VR one.

All of that comes to 617.35 and is prime eligible and are good products you are not going to trash in 3 days. Get things like a tripod, and filters when you need them. A good tripod will run you at least $100 for a basic, $200-300 for a good one.

I think the general rule is to be careful that the seller is trusted. But I got mine refurbished from here: Nikon D3300 24.2 MP CMOS Digital SLR with AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR II Zoom Lens (Black) (Certified Refurbished) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00PCM0XAI/ref=cm_sw_r_other_awd_zQa.wbXE6KP9C

..and it seems new with no problems so far.

It would be good to see examples of the kind of images you'd like to produce but typically, a real estate photographer will use a camera with an ultrawide lens. This helps show off a whole room and make it look spacious. That probably means an interchangeable lens camera for the best results.

There's a fair bit of technique involved in getting nice results so if you're new to photography, you could expect a bit of a learning curve to get the most from the gear.

For $500, a second hand DSLR camera and 10-20mm lens would be possible and could do a good job. KEH.com are a big used camera dealer that could help find a kit.

A slightly bigger budget gives you more options.

For example, a refurb Nikon D3300 and new Nikkor 10-20mm costs about $700 on Amazon.

You'd need a memory card and I'd also suggest a tripod.

OK, to cover all of that, I think you'd want this refurbished kit and for the low light shots, one of these. That comes to $626 (I assume you work in USD). You should use the $74 left to get a memory card, a spare battery and a cleaning kit.

However, you are still going to have to learn how to use it. You're going to need to decide which ISO and aperture to use and why. There's a course in the sidebar over in r/photography. That's a good start.

I disagree. /u/Kyomae does not know what "feel" he is looking for. Canon and Nikon are both VERY similar with only minor differences in actual use at entry level. If you look at price vs. performance, Nikon wins all the way up until you get to full frame cameras.

Also, you can get a D3300 for $400 NEW on Amazon right now.
