Cover the cuts fully with this - https://www.amazon.com/NIVEA-Crème-Unisex-Purpose-Moisturizing/dp/B00DEG8N9W - and it will prevent the water from getting into the cut and burning/stinging. Petroleum jelly (vaseline) can work as well, but Nivea Creme is best for sure.

Wash face in morning( I use cerave hydrating cleanser), apply moisturizer (I use nivea creme)

Wash face in evening (same cleanser), apply stridex (red box) all over face, wait 30 minutes, moisturize (nivea creme)

The beginner's routine. CeraVe foaming $10 on Amazon, CeraVe cream $15 on Amazon (or Nivea cream if your skin hates fatty alcohols $9 on Amazon, Stridex pads and Neutrogena pure and free baby $12 on Amazon I only recommend this one because it's my personal preference to use physical sunscreens. Stridex in the red box $5 on Amazon.

$14 for the CeraVe cream version or $36 for the Nivea cream version. Sunblock is all rather comparable in price. And the CeraVe hydrating cleanser is about the same price as the foaming cleanser.

For me it's CeraVe foaming $10, Nivea Creme $6 (grocery store purchase), Silk Naturals AHA $9, Benton Snail Bee High Content Essence $12, Hydrocolloid bandages $5, Retin-a $5. = $47 not including shipping or accounting for variations in insurance coverage.

Nivea's cream and Eucerin's Original Healing Cream are about as thick as it gets. Eucerin's to the point that it pulls on your skin a lot trying to spread it, so I would suggest trying Nivea first. Hope you like them!

Not entirely for face, but I thought I'd share:

Just yesterday picked up [Tanwise][tw] from Sally Beauty Supply. I was going to use the regular [Foam Mousse][fm], but the sweet clerk said the water mouse line has been pretty popular. Literally just woke up and haven't rinsed yet; things look pretty okay (no streaks). Though, I have always been religious about applying any tanning product after I apply lotion and let it soak in a bit. I used [Nivea][niv] right out of the shower, let it soak in, then applied the foam with my hand. -It glid on my skin pretty nicely. For my face, I mixed a tiny pump with my normal amount of [moisturizer][mo] and it's looking great.
They have some [drops][dr] which get excellent reviews online. If this goes well, I might just have to try it out!

>Note: I'm a redhead with fair skin and lots of freckles. I'll have to update y'all in a few days to let you know how it fades. Not wanting an oompa loompa effect here!
