I'm also preparing for the OCA certification and this is what I'm working with right now;

Study guides https://www.amazon.com/OCA-Java-Programmer-Certification-Guide/dp/1617293253 and https://www.oreilly.com/library/view/oca-oracle-certified/9781118957424/ The first one is my favorite one. She explain each topic really good and her book is full of figures to help you understand each topic better. (I used a second book, the first one in this case, because when I finished the first one I thought I was "ready" for it... Well, it didn't go pretty well when I tried the first mock exam from Enthuware).

So if your teacher is going to take the questions from the exam, those questions are pretty tricky. They design those questions to make sure you know your stuff (I like to say that they actually don't want you to pass the exam). Code isn't decently formatted. They make you believe the question you are working on is about 'Exceptions', while in fact they are just testing your knowledge of inheritance (just an example). You should definitely take some Mock exams before your exam.

Mock exams Enthuware and Whizlabs. Enthuware it's pretty hard to be honest (lol). But they do this to make sure you pass the exam (money back guarantee if you don't (the money you paid for the mock exams, not the one we pay for the OCA...). Whizlabs explanations are better than the ones of Enthuware IMO.
