The gop party platform hits 8/10 of the warning signs of fascism.

Also there's this. https://benjaminstudebaker.com/2014/02/18/conservatism-leads-to-fascism/

Now, I'm not saying all conservatives are fascists, but it's an ideology in its modern implementations that has an end goal of fascism.

This is far from a new phenomenon as well, as its evident here. https://www.amazon.com/dp/0896084183/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_mOaQBb1NTAXPY

In reality, from 1928-now, the gop has been deeply intertwined with both nazism and fascism, starting with the gop rallies starting in 1928 that literally flew the nazi flag and ran joint marches with both the kkk and the nazi party of America, to the bills they introduced in congress in the early 30s for its to join the war on the side of Germany and Italy.

Donald Trump is just the latest of extremist conservatives, he didn't bring fascism to America, he just exploited and capitalized on a near 100 year effort a single party has been trying to push. His slogan of "make America great again" is actually evidence of this, as it was the rallying cry the gop and kkk used during the attempts to make the public support the bill to join Germany in war against the UK during WW2.

Edit : forgot to paste the book link.

Fair point but the thing to remember is these guys in America are utterly controlled and chock full of informants -- and incidentally a lot of those ex-Iron Guard guys wound up in America after going into exile. The GOP's outreach into the Romanian expat community for decades was run directly by ex-Iron Guard dudes (also look up Laszlo Pasztor, ex-Arrow Cross, who worked on the Hungarian community) via the Republican Heritage Groups Council. This is how the old Nixon gang operated. Also worked for Reagan and Bush Sr. -- the latter was the CIA's man in the White House, note the intelligence agency link here as it was the agencies which facilitated these guys moving over to act as representatives of "anti-communist" (read: fascist) emigres during the Cold War after the Red Army rolled in in 1945.

Most of them are super old or dead now, though.

Now you ever heard about any of this? There's a reason these conspiracies -- which are true -- don't make it into the public consciousness while there's more than enough money sloshing around for Alex Jones to tell people to vote for Republicans (the oil and gas party) because Cultural Marxists wanna take away your video games.

And look at all these /pol/ kids. They couldn't find their own asses with their own hands without some kind of direction. Bannon was appointed basically to be the Nazi turd wrangler in chief but the problem is this new generation isn't as good at it as the old guys, who were better at concealing it under layers of plausible deniability. This whole crew gets too excited and nervous and think "wow fellas, we're doing some real sneaky spy shit!" and they screw it up.

Neocon garbage. Whittle shows his true stripes as a corporatist Roosevelt-Truman-Wilson Israel first "bomb the world to export democracy" neocon. WW2 was an illegitimate war of aggression. Hitler and the Imperial Japanese and the Soviet Union would have destroyed each other were it not for American intervention. Dresden, Operation Keelhaul, the internment of the japanese, and the atomic bombing are war crimes that are black marks on America's history. Once new left, pro soviet, socially liberal hippies took over the democratic party, warmongering progressives and evangelicals jumped ship from the left to the right (silent majority, Reagan democrats), and real, anti establishment, isolationist conservatives like the John Birch Society were expelled by William Buckley. Truman and Roosevelt should be charged for war crimes. The CIA funded national review, and the big, corporate funded foundations turned conservatism from a small government, free market movement to a pro empire, pro fascism, pro police state, pro new deal, and pro welfare state as long as the government controlled the poor and did not just hand out money with no strings attached (compassionate conservatism) movement.

Explains how protestant fundamentalists who supported an american crusader state were on the Wilsonian left, and then became the anti communist imperialist right in the 80's.

Supply siders, theocrats, dixiecrats, compassionate conservatives, and neocons destroyed the conservative movement.
