Yeah, at least for that light, looks like it had a low of $80, at least on Amazon. I, too, had searched for an inexpensive light... but I mean, this is for home/self defense, yes? Probably worth a small investment for something of quality and reliability. At least that's how I justify some of my firearm purchases. Hah. Really though, at least for a few basic investments, the argument is valid. One good set up (weapon, light, holster) and some good training/range time to ensure reliability and proficiency.
