Ling Bao Tong Zhi Neng Nei Gong Shu
It's the best text I've found on actual meditation techniques from a legitimate lineage. It could definitely use an English editor, but it gives actual techniques. It's from one of Wang Liping's students from the Dragon Gate Lineage. I'd recommend Opening the Dragon Gate as another good read from them, it's a biography about Liping.
Most other books I've found are the same old breathing into the lower dantian, count your breaths, that sort of thing. Let me know if you have any questions, I've read a good deal on esoteric Taoism.
You should look into his book UBIK. It's fascinating. I read it a very long time ago and don't remember it so well, but I definitely remember it was fascinating.
You may also enjoy the short stories of Jorge Luis Borges. Also, The Illuminatus Trilogy and The Cosmic Trigger by Robert Anton Wilson.
Borges explores many, many subjects in his writing. He's considered to be one of the most well-read people of the last century.
Wilson explores things from a... I don't know, psychedelic/magical agnostic angle I guess.
If you are interested in Taoism at all, you may enjoy Opening the Dragon Gate: The Making of a Modern Taoist Wizard.
