If I had to guess I would say that they are probably saying it's for women to charge more. A good safety razor will cut through anything. If it can cut through a man's thick facial hair it won't have any issues with the hair on your body unless you are some sort of big foot lady. The blades are incredibly well made and very sharp. Like I said though, this razor is good but it's not great once you can save up for something in the 50-60 dollar range it gets even better. The one below is a little more expensive than the one I sent you and it's a three piece razor which would be better for the long haul. All the reviews seem very positive and it's for ladies.
