So much... Stuff...

It comes down to what you want to do with it and then determine what you need to accomplish that? Do you need the weapon light? What about that bipod? and foregrip?

It just seems like a ton of extraneous crap of dubious quality

In theater i used to dump every bit of extra crap i could get away with. I carried 75lbs of crap out the gate and i wanted as big a fraction of that to be things to keep me alive.

Heavy crap was just that.

I'm not sure any bag will provide enough support for a bong since they are so heavy, especially at the 2-3 foot range. If you're serious about keeping it safe I would look into a pelican case, this one would fit what you want. There are off brand cases as well if you weren't looking to spend over $100 that do basically the same thing.
