Star Fox Adventures (less than £10) is basically a Zelda game with a Star Fox skin, and very fun even if you're not normally a fan of the Star Fox games.
Lost Kingdoms (less than £10) is an Action-JRPG with an interesting battle system in which you summon monsters from cards. It's a bit cheesy and you can tell it was made with a smaller budget, but it's loads of fun.
Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem (less than £20) is a psychological horror action-mystery game, and while I haven't played more than a couple of hours into this one yet, I can say it has some great atmosphere and plays sort of like the earlier Resident Evil games.
Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance (less than £20) is an awesome Diablo-like action-RPG set in the Dungeons & Dragons Forgotten Realms world. Especially good for multiplayer, but the story is decent enough to play single-player as well.
Phantasy Star Online (less than £20) is like a third-person over-the-shoulder Diablo mixed with some Zelda-style combat/timing, but in a futuristic setting (including lightsaber-like "energy swords"). The game is playable in single-player despite having 'online' in its name, but can also be connected to various private servers if you have a GC Broadband adapter. I've personally put over 200 hours into this game... <3
