Ah, ok he is a bit young then. I would consider trying a sturdier pack then. Let me get a link for the ones we used.

These are pretty sturdy, all one piece and a solid silicone, but still with a little give. The material is similar to what the chews are made of, only a little softer.

I thought he was older for some reason, but at 3, it is better t let him stick with a routine he is comfortable with until he can get more services to help him cope.
