Awesome; I think I can wire in a $20/20K resistor! ;-)

Thanks!

Since it has a DC output capable of supplying 5-60V, it would work for any device.

You'd need a suitable cable though because of sensing circuitry in the Dreamstation and Airsense 10.

Dreamstation: details or readymade
Airsense 10: diy instructions

A Powergorilla would work just as well, it's cheaper and you can take it on airplanes.

Sounds like you are using the standard 120v AC power cord, you need to switch to the 12v DC power cord. Once you operating on true 12v DC and stop going through an inverter, you will be able to actually use a battery. The other issue, you need to stop using the humidifier, that will triple (or more) your power needs depending how high your humidity settings.

I also have a Dreamstation, but much lower settings than you. I use the Renology 38000mah battery (that is no longer offered) that is rated 144wh (watt-hours) and I can get approx 4.5 full nights. It still comes in a larger version, the 60000mAh/222Wh for $140 and the 72000mAh/266Wh for $160.

If you need a bigger battery, you can either build it yourself with a lithium mobility battery, or buy something like the Goal Zero Yeti 400 Lithium for $600. I also own this and managed to squeeze out 11 standard 8 hour nights with it and still wasn't fully depleted.
